How to Bid
Bidding in our Live Auctions
For our live auctions, just show up on auction day at the location and register for a bidder number. Bid your price on the items you want. Checkout and take your items home.
Bidding in Our Online Auctions
For our online auctions, register on our website for a New Bidder Account. Then you can place bids in any of our online auctions. When the auction ends, your card will be charged for any items where you are the winning bidder. Be sure to read the auction details to see when the preview open house day is and when you need to come pick up your items.

What Payment do We Accept?
For our Live Auctions, we accept cash, check and major credit card. For our online auctions, you place a credit card on file that will be billed at the conclusion of the auction for any items you have won.
Absentee / Phone Bids
- All Absentee/Phone Bidders must be registered with Grindstaff Auction & Realty LLC. By submitting an absentee/phone bid(s) you agree to the terms & conditions of the auction set by Grindstaff Auction & Realty LLC.
- All Absentee/Phone Bidders must submit valid Credit Card Information. The credit card will be charged for the hammer (sold) price plus a 15% buyers premium and any applicable sales tax, on the 1st business day after an auction unless other payment arrangements have been made prior to the auction.
- Grindstaff Auction & Realty LLC offers absentee/phone bidding as a convenience to clients who are unable to attend the auction and will not be held responsible for errors or failure to execute bids. Your bid on each lot will be entered on your behalf by the gallery auctioneer. Once a bid is placed it cannot be withdrawn or amended. In the event of a “Tie” bid, the auctioneer will sell to the “floor”.
